Interesting Henry.
For me the biggest thing is being able to be at home while my salon still makes money.
It’s so hard having to go in every single day. By now I expected it to run on it’s own.

Hi Henry! I love the way you make me stop in my tracks and think! For me I would like financial freedom after living in crippling debt for the last two years.Even if I didnt have to work, i would ,because I get such a buzz out of making people feel better about themselves and giving them a ’spring in their step’! I love the beauty industry!I would love not to have the worry about salon overheads which can sometimes affect my love of my job. That makes me feel so sad when that happens.

Thanks Julie – glad to help.
And GOOD NEWS – you’ve got something over 90% of our society NEVER achieves (which is really, really sad).
When you’re doing something you’d do EVEN if you had financial independence then you’re doing the right thing!
And that alone will with a little focus (and willingness to make mistakes, overcome adversity and persevere) almost guarantee you achieve financial independence anyway.
One of my all time favourite mentors is Zig Ziglar (I’m sure you’ve heard of him) and he puts it very simply.
“If you help enough people get what they want then you can have everything you want” (might have the exact words a little wrong but you get the idea).
And it’s TOO easy to take our eye off this and forget to focus on it BOTH in hard times and in good.
In good times we tend to be a bit – ‘Wooppeee… I’m Superman – I can do anything’.
And in bad times we tend to be a little ‘Ah – money, money, money’ OR ‘ We start making more mistakes than we should’.
However, when you have that passion for what you do – you really can overcome and achieve anything. The getting anything in your life is creating that ‘burning desire’ inside to have it (whether it’s a car, a new watch, house or whatever).
Just BE SURE you know what you want.
Because what you focus on has a strange way of making itself come true.
Have a super weekend…
We’ve got the family descending on us this afternoon.
They know I’ll be making them a lovely roast (I’m no gourmet chef but love a little fiddle in the kitchen).
What they don’t know is that today and tomorrow evening are TWO VERY RARE evenings for me.
I hardly watch TV – prefering to nurture the mind with a difficult book.
BUT, I’ve got the Brazillian Formula One practice to watch tonight – folowed by X Factor (gotta see Danyl again and laugh a bit at Cheryl’s single).
Then tomorrow another round of the same.
GOOD LUCK with your plans – I’ve absolutely no doubt you’ll get there and keep me posted!
Best, Henry.
