Good morning…

It’s 6:01am and I’m sat in our lounge, fresh coffee, 4 of our cats and the TV on with the build up to the F1 Grand Prix Qualifying session on in the background.

There’s been an awful lot of ‘argument’ this week over the technicalities of rear diffusers on some of the Formula One cars.

Some claim a few of the teams are using ‘illegal’ diffusers to give them the extra edge.

However, an investigation has ruled these diffusers are ‘legal’.

What’s really happened is some of the teams have simply developed better cars are the others are ‘sick to the stomach’ and their only reaction is to try to make them look like cheats.

Well!

Today I have a sneaky ‘trick’ you can use to STEAL your salon and spa competitors clients!!

Best of all it’s FREE!

Let me ask you a question…

How many of your salon and spa competitors (whether that be local, regional or national) have gone bust due to recession or are about to go bust??

Most likely quite a few….

Would you like to steal a big chunk of their old clientelle – for FREE??

Here’s how to do it…

1. Identify all your salon and spa competitors past and present.

2. Draw up a list of all the ones who have gone bust or closed business.

3. Look up their old telephone number.

4. Call BT or whoever and tell them you want a new number and the number is that of your OLD competition…

5. Keep track of your competitors still in business and ‘pounce’ as soon as one goes bust or closes it’s doors…

Not always, but in some cases you’ll be able to get the number.

Now what happens?

Well, all the old clients of the salon or spa that’s gone bust will call the old companies number and get you. PLUS, they’ll likely have loads of historical advertising out in the marketplace such as Yellow Pages, flyers etc that will get new people calling on a regular basis.

When you answer he phone simply introduce your salon/spa and let them know (in the best way possible) the old salon/spa has gone bust BUT, you offer even better treatments, products, services etc…

Pretty sneaky huh!

But as I always say… I can’t show you one way to generate 100 new salon/spa clients (well actually I probably can) but I can show you 100 ways to generate one new client…

Make use of EVERY possible way you can to grow your salon or spa…

In this months Salon and Spa Millionaire Inner Circle call I uncovered just how ANY salon or spa can:

“Uncover the Hidden Wealth Buried Deep In Their Salon/Spa Website”

(Inner Circle members will receive the CD with this months GOLD Instalment early next week – if you’re not yet an GOLD member, accept your free trial and gifts here - FREE GIFT).

So, whether you are a beauty salon owner, nail salon owner, hair salon owner or youown ANY type of spa or beauty business there’s a whole lot of information on that recording that NONE of your competition know or will ever find out. For example:

- The 4 types of websites you should use for your salon or spa.

- Why the type of salon/spa website you use means win or bust.

- Why 99% of salon and spa websites FAIL to make ANY money.

- Why using Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites to build your salon or spa is like walking through treacle.

-  How to dominate any local, or national beauty area on the internet so fast it’ll make your eyes water.

- And loads more.

But this isn’t a pitch for that call.

Quite the opposite.

My early days in business were MEAN.

And I mean I was a real stinge bag.

I really didn’t want to tell anybody ANY of my secrets unless they ‘crossed my palm with silver’.

And in fact, there is something to be said for that.

But over the years I have ‘mellowed’.

Whether that’s driven by an aging drop in testosterone or the philosophical change I attribute it to I’ll leave to you to decide.

But it’s good news for you…

Because you’re in the right place to get up to the minute, useful stuff on how to destroy recession and achieve all your salon and spa goals.

And here you go…

“10 Ways to Swamp Your Salon or Spa Website With Visitors…”

#1: Articles - write short, informative articles about how YOU and your salon or sp can SOLVE people’s problems and help look great and feel even better. The submit them to the top article directories (ezinearticles, articelbase, goarticles and more).

#2: Press releases - YEP! Press releases are great for generating online traffic (and if you know what you’re doing, a LOT of FREE publicity offline too). Submit them to the top press release distribution site (NOTE: you need to find purely online distribution sites like prweb AND others which have a closer relationship with journalists).

#3: BLOGGING - you need a salon/spa blog! No time to go into depth here – but trust me…

#4: Pay per click advertising - e.g. Google Adwords… To my knowledge there is NO faster way to generate bundles of ready to go, targeted traffic to your salon or spa website than pay per click. Only downside is it COSTS MONEY. And you MUST know what you’re doing or you WILL waste a LOT of money. I’ve used pay per click to generate millions of visitors to my sites and have never failed yet to earn at least 3 times what I spend. (Join my Inner Circle for my upcoming Adwords Mastery for Salona and Spas call – Click Here).

#5: Joint Ventures – Overlooked by most because they THINK they are hard to setup. Yes, you need to know who you are partnering with is trustworthy but they’re easier than you think to make work. The premise is simple. Someone other than you owns a list of customers and prospects in a complementary market to you. You mail an offer to their list and they take a slice of the profits (there are a lot of other ways to cut the deal too)…

#6: Videos - Youtube, Viddler, Google Video and hundreds more video sites are frequented by the people who buy from you… Video marketing is POWERFUL…

#7: Podcasts – This one sounds a little technical. In essence you created an audio track about your topic and publish it to iTunes and more, people find it, listen to it, trust you (if the content is good)  and go to your salon/spa sites… For a local salon/spa this may be a little bit of ‘overkill’. BUT, if you are looking to build a national or international business, this is ‘genius’…

#8: Social Bookmarking - Like just bookmarking a webpage on your browser BUT, millions of other people can see what has been bookmarked and therefore see what is popular… If they see something they are looking for that has been social bookmarked by someone else then they’ll have a peek and often head to your site…

#9: OFFLINE - Ahh! I hear you cry… Well don’t! Offline is an awesome way to drive online traffic. Everything from making sure your salon/spa website is on  your flyers, postcards, business cards, brochures etc to dedicated offline campaigns to generate online traffic.

#10: Social Networking - Ummmm have you got a LONG time? No time to digress here but I’ve yet to find anyone who has made any real money using social networking (other than people selling info on how to make money from social networking). YES, there are applications for social networking which can be useful and yes, it can drive traffic. BUT, by golly it can take a LOT of your time (and there are in my opinion better ways to spend your time).

There’s 10…I’ve got over a hundred more up my sleeve…

Let me ask you a question…

How many of just those 10 salon and spa website traffic pullers do you use?

Look, WHATEVER type of salon or spa you have, you CAN use the internet to significantly increase demand for your treatments, products and servces, referrals and repeat spend.

If those 10 are new to you then come join my Inner Circle and let’s get you making best use of what’s available - Click Here to Accept Your Free Trial and Free Gifts

Dedicated to helping you make easy work of marketing your salon or spa,

Henry…

My first ever job in sales was with IBM.

Fresh out of university number two (where I studied sound engineering – I love music) I dived straight into sales.

At the time I really wasn’t too sure why.

So wrapped in just getting a good job, making money and getting independent I kinda followed the path that felt right.

My first day with IBM was one hell of an experience.

I was ‘dumped’ in a sales centre with about a hundred highly trained salesmen and women busy speaking to clients, cold calling, doing deals and earning themselves a lot of commission.

I was one shy ‘little boy’.

The thought of picking up the phone simply filled me with dread. I spent more time in the toilet ‘sweating’ than I did at my desk.

I’d never failed at anything important to me in the past but my first few weeks were one catastrophic failure.

Endless pointless calls to people with seemingly no interest at all in what I had to sell.

Frustrating was not the word.

I was faced with two clear choices.

  1. 1. Give up
  2. 2. Work out what I was doing wrong

Not prepared to give up I plumped for number two.

And I went on a mission to suck up every possible ounce of sales and marketing wisdom I could get my hot little hands on.

And within 2 years I was training other employees and had single handedly generated over £7 million in revenue in one year.

And the BIGGEST thing I changed was this.

I started using ‘Headlines’, ‘Hooks’, reasons for people to stop what they were doing right then and there and sit up a listen to me.

You see, we are each bombarded with thousands of advertising methods every single day. Your job is to cut through all the cr*p and get your salon/spa prospects and clients to pay undivided attention to YOU.

And it matters not what media you are working in.

Newspapers, sales letters, websites, the telephone, face to face.

Now once I’d realise the power of HEADLINES I then went about using them in all my marketing.

And here’s what’s so interesting.

The difference in how much money a salon or spa, sales letter or whatever makes changed by as much as 2000%+ just by altering the headline!!!

That means there is a possibility you can generate 2000% more profit starting TODAY by simply ADDING or CHANGING the headlines on your salon or spa ads etc.

And if you don’t even use headlines — ‘get outta here’!!! START!!!!

BIG BONUS!!!

Now, to help you, the next 10 people that grab a FREE TRIAL to my Salon and Spa Millionaire INNER CIRCLE will receive an additional bonus from me.

That bonus will be “The 200 Greatest Headlines Ever Written”.

And here’s why that is so important.

These headlines are formulaic.

You can simply take them, change a few words and WHAM, they’ll be ready for YOUR salon or spa.

But KEEP IN MIND.

Selecting the right headline requires testing. You MUST test one headline AGAINST another and see which works best…

This is an IMPORTANT topic.

Email is one of the cheapest, easiest and fastest ways you can communicate with your salon or spa clients.

Yet, for some unknown reason few salons/spas use it and even fewer use it correctly. When considering which types of email to use, it’s important to remember that you don’t need to take a one-size-fits-all approach. Some clients will be much more suited to email newsletters than one-time announcements, while the reverse might apply to others.

The best thing about email is that it’s so measurable. Try a newsletter for your clients for a month or two and then look at the results.

Mix up the topics you cover to see which garners the most interest.

Try a different layout for each issue.

In spite of spammers abusing the medium, email is still valued by users for timely, rich and enticing news and advertising. It is naturally the communications delivery system of choice for large and small online companies, but it is also a critical tool for off-line businesses like yours.

More and more people are turning to their computers first as a resource for buying products and services. So even an offline business must recognize that a consumer’s emailbox, not the snail-mailbox is where products are being sold today.

Important TIP

Email is very important now. Ignore it and you’ll be left by the wayside. However, while postage and printing costs require some investment, offline marketing often is even more profitable than e-mail.

Like any other kind of marketing email marketing has one goal: to communicate clearly the benefits of purchasing a product or service. It all comes down to giving consumers the information they need to buy.

Despite its importance, most salon and spa owners treat writing e-mail as either a chore, a waste of time, or worst, a lesser form of communication. Because of this, it isn’t given the same amount of care and attention as putting pen to paper.

Here are 5 Tips to BOOST the power of your email communications:

TIP #1 – Use Appropriate Salutations
When used well, salutations are an effective way to set the atmosphere of the letter. Think of it as a handshake, another way to greet your reader. It allows the reader to get into the right frame of mind, preparing him for your message.

Nothing is more compelling that personalization and we all react with interest when we see our name. When you include your prospect’s name in the salutation, you’re likely to get a much more positive response than with a generic, “Dear Friend. ” A personalized opening says, “This is just for you.”

TIP #2 – Make the Subject Matter Matter
Your e-mail’s Subject Heading is one of the first things that your reader will see. Oftentimes, and especially during sorting, it’s the only way you can distinguish one email from the next. Make it count. It’s as important as a headline on an ad or sales letter.

TIP #3 – Use a Dictionary
First of all, it’s just good practice. Secondly, you’ll be more confident when “experimenting” with new words and phrases. As long as you verify that what you’re writing is spelled correctly and is used in the proper context, you’ll naturally increase your word power and further enhance your own writing style. And this will, in turn, make your emails more enjoyable to read, and easier to understand.

TIP #4 – Don’t Be Afraid to Make Your Email Personal With Smiley Faces etc…
Some call them emoticons, some call them smiley faces. And they’re great when you really want to let your reader know what you’re feeling, or how you’d like your reader to feel, and you just don’t have the words nor the time to say so.

Emotions are most appropriately used in casual e-mail, and most effective when used sparingly. I myself use them when I want to let the reader know that everything’s okay, don’t worry about it. Just as it’s hard not to smile back when someone is smiling at you, the same goes for smiley faces. :-) (See what I mean?)

TIP #5 – Spell It Out to Remove All Doubt
There’s nothing worse than a misunderstood email. One way to avoid this is to begin your e-mail with why you are writing what you are writing, and how you have come to your conclusions. Then proceed with your comment.

And as with ALL marketing — make SURE you have an OFFER and a reason to respond NOW!

Dedciated to your success,

Henry.

The path to maximum profits in your salon or spa is unlikely to be what you think it is…

Most people assume it’s having the best treatments, the best staff, the best location etc.

Whilst those things are important, they are only a little piece of the ‘pie’.

The real path to maximum profits is something MUCH more mundane and for that reason ignored by nearly all salon and spa owners (BIG MISTAKE!!)

The path to MAXIMUM profits is NUMBERS!

When I realised so, it was a real disappointment. While I’m OK at maths (I did a degree in engineering many years ago), I DO NOT like it. I’d much rather be creating something of value and interest.

And the fact most people don’t like numbers is YOUR SECRET WEAPON. Master the numbers and you can succeed beyond your wildest dreams.

Now, what you need to know…
