It's Not Me in the Pic. I Was Too Busy Laughing...

It's Not Me in the Pic. I Was Too Busy Laughing...

Quick ‘heads up’… HA!

That’s just reminded me of one Tracey’s uncles.

He’s an avid shooting fanatic. We went clay pigeon shooting with him not long back and he had me in stiches.

We were huddled up in this kinda ‘bunker’ (I was cold and half petrified) and someone else was releasing the clays.

As we sat in the bunker he shouted at me:

“Look up – keep ya head down!”

To which I had no option but to burst into laughter and roll around in the mud.

Although it kinda makes sense looking back – at the time it just sounded ridiculous…

Anyway:

‘Keep Ya Head Up’

Yesterday I mentioned I might record a video for you on how you can use the internet to get clients for your salon or spa (most people make it much harder than it really is – and I reckon to confuse you).

If there was enough interest.

Silly question…

My inbox has been rammed with so many responses my eyes go weird when I try to pick out any other emails.

So YES! I will do the vid!

And sorry if you didn’t get a personal response. I responded myself to as many as I could face before the old repetitive strain wotsit started hitting my fingers.

So keep your eyes peeled for my mails from now on.

And make today the best day ever.

Talk soon,

Henry.

P.S. If you sent in a mail with specific questions – sorry if I didn’t answer them all. I got so many it wasn’t poss. But, look out shortly – I’ll have something really cool to help.

P.P.S. If there’s anything salon internet or spa internet type stuff you particularly want to know about then pop it in the comments of this post and I’ll make sure I include it…

Hey, Henry here.

It’s the final countdown.

To two life changing events (well, kinda one for me and one for you).

Number 1: Tracey is now 24 odd weeks and I’m under no illusions how fast Nov, Dec, Jan go – so our new arrival might as well be here already…

We’re pretty much set. Nursery is ready, we’ve got more clothes for him than he could possibly ever wear and this weekend I sorted the pushchair. Quite frankly I wasn’t expecting the price tag that goes with them. By the time we’d added the car seat, flat carry-cot wotsit, matching changing bag and lord knows what else it was over £850! Never mind… As long as the little man is comfortable…

Number 2: First off an apology. Sorry to everyone who’s been calling and emailing asking for my help (and snooping round to see how my clients get such cool results). I’m don’t have room to take any new clients or offer any new places via our free gift.

But I do have some good news.

To try to stem the volume of requests and because I’ll need some quiet time when the little one arrives in Feb I’m currently shooting a ton of videos and preparing loads of special reports for you. And I’ll be offering something that will change this industry forever and give you the chance to make a lot more money without being in your salon or spa – over the next few weeks.

I’m sure it can really help you make a lot more money with a lot less stress (and let you ‘escape’ the day to day running of your biz). But before you take that journey with me all the videos and reports will be free (and these aren’t canned videos of people at seminars – these are content packed jobbies).

And I’m thinking of doing a video on how you can use the internet to get more clients and keep those clients longer.

So – can you help?

I need to know:

1. Do you use the internet right now to generate new clients?

2. If so, how?

3. If so, is it working for you?

4. Whether you do or not, what are you biggest challenges with the internet?

What I’ll do is focus the video (if I do it – which I think I will) on how to sort out the bits you struggle with.

So – PLEASE POST YOUR ANSWERS IN THE COMMENTS of this post.

Have a super day.

Best, Henry.

Henry Played Drums on Stage With Bon

I finally got a new pair of drum sticks this past weekend.

I haven’t picked up a pair for over 10 years…

“So what Henry!”

Well, I was watching TV last week and Bon Jovi popped up and it reminded me of playing on stage with him in front of 30,000 odd people at the Milton Keynes Bowl back in 1996.

It was during his “These Days Tours”.

You know it’s pretty weird seeing all the shenanagans that go on back stage… Very weird actually.

But not half a weird as when I met Bon – he was about 3 foot shorter than I expected and disarmingly handsome (git) and I in no way have  any gay tendencies (don’t get me wrong, some of my best friends are gay).

Anyway, seeing Bon again on TV got me tapping away on my legs and triggered the feelings there was something missing in my life.

And that something is drumming!

And hence why I got myself a nice shiny new pair of sticks – now I need some drums – the stairs are already battered…

What’s that got to do with you – ummm – let’s see….

It reminded me of how easy it is to mix up the things you really enjoy and love with the things that actually aren’t so important.

I love drumming – I mean, give me anything that looks like a stick and I’ll be banging away and driving you nuts before you can snatch it back.

But I’d stopped drumming and focused on other things for 10 years – and silly as it seems there was a hole in my world…

And that hole causes more problems than you might think.

Imagine this for a moment.

There are two circles that define your life.

One is the way you act now, what you do, what you focus on.

And the other is the person you REALLY are. What you’re REALLY ‘all about’…

For 99% of people these two circles are light years apart.

The 40 year old insurance salesman who hates his job and dreams of being in a rock band.

The 20 year old salesman who has to pretend every day he’s something he’s not and pretend he enjoys selling (that was me back in the day).

The wife stuck at home shopping and cleaning who dreams of a life on the catwalk.

The salon owner who constantly tries to attract the clients he thinks he needs but for some reason can’t keep them..

Look – this is deep stuff and it’s the root of all unhappiness.

You see happiness and MASSIVE acceleration towards your goals happens when.

You get the two circles to line up perfectly.

The person you REALLY are and the person you PROJECT to the world become one.

Nothing bothers you – nothing can upset you – you wake up excited every single day – and achieving what you want in your salon, your spa, you relationships, your family, your health or whatever becomes a walk in the park…

Heavy stuff huh…

Powerful stuff…

And these two circles control your destiny…

A few years back after a series of BIG failures – I’d lost 3 jobs on the trot – because I hated them, was up to my eyeballs in debt and was living in Mums cellar with my fiancee and 5 cats, and was literally on the brink of despair.

I stumbled across this idea on the two circles.

Realised mine were so so far apart you’d need a football pitch to draw and decided to fix it.

Every single day now I wake up between 4am and 5am, immediately get up and am so excited about the day ahead I could burst. And I don’t get up that early coz I have to – I  literally CANNOT wait to.

And I’ve achieved more success in the last few years than I could possibly have dreamed of.

And all I had to do was sit down, draw my two circles, write down what’s in each and simply line them up…

Heavy stuff…

Give it a try and let me know how you get on.

Best,

Henry.
